By Road: You must drive to Canning (56km) to reach Sonakhali. Apart from Canning, you can also get to Namkhana (100 km), Nahat (92km) and Raidighi (76 km), and from there, you can enjoy boating to reach Sundarban.

By Rail: Board on Namkhana local or Canning local from Sealdah junction. The entry permit for Sundarban is available from Canning National Park, Sonakhali and Vagna.

By Air: The nearest airport of Sundarban is Dumdum Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. After that, you can take a bus or cab.

We went for a 2N3D trip during Ilish Utsav. The trip was beautifully organized. Since we couldn't see the Gosaba part on the day of arrival due to bad weather, it was added with the last day's trip. The food was fabulous. It comprised of multiple ilish items per lunch, mutton, chicken etc. There was also folk dance arranged at the resort. Overall, it was a memorable trip.
